CNM Continental Super 100 Maxi Tender

The highly anticipated Continental Super 100 Maxi Tender was presented at the Genoa International Boat Show world premiere and the first copy is set to premiere in spring 2010. The design comes from the Cantieri Navali del Mediterraneo. The Italian builder decided to start on the similarly designed yacht following his success with the launch of the CNM 50 Tender in 2008. However similar, the Continental Super 100 Maxi Tender is double the size.
The yacht’s deck stretches the full length from the bow to the stern. The one floor concept offers a fresh appearance, with the open floor plan on a single level. Designed with entertaining in mind, the Continental Super 100 Maxi Tender does not skimp on areas for seating or lounging.
The yacht offers an appearance, which is sleek and stylish. At the bow, c-shaped sofa faces the direction of another sofa, located at the face of the pilot enclosure facing the bow. The c-shaped area serves as both a sun lounger and area for conversation and can accommodate up to 12 people.
The conversation and sun lounge area also converts into a dining area with two large tables. Additionally, the large dining areas protected by awning technology. A large corridor extends along both sides of the pilot enclosure, provides two terraces at the pilothouse level, and opens into an area for sunbathing. Further seating, lounging, and dining areas sit behind the pilot enclosure.
At the front of the pilot enclosure, sits two comfortable seats. Both seats face the bow and offer a protected view. Additionally, a sinks located under the seat of the navigator. Parallel to the corridor, two couches face one another, providing an area for both dining and conversation. One of the couches features a larger table, while the other offers two smaller tables.
On the sun deck, two sun lounges, along with further seating is provided. The open concept on the main deck offers a total of six dinettes, two sun loungers, as well as plenty of areas for conversation. In addition, the sides open for an additional bathing platform. As for the interior, more of a traditional concept entails the below deck. Within the interior of the hull, the yacht features a three-cabin layout.
In addition, a service area is centrally located between the guest cabins and full beam master cabin. A large part of the below deck is dedicated to the master cabin, which offers two large side windows that can open. In addition, it features a Jacuzzi bath and has the ability to open into the main deck. In addition, two cabins offer an area for guests in addition to crew quarters at mid ship.
The Continental Super 100 Maxi Tender runs the length of 30 meters and features a twin engine with 400 hp MTU. With the current surface drives, it is expected to allow speeds to reach up to 45 knots. In addition, the model will also offer the option for jet propulsion by twin turbines, which are similar to the KaMeWa type.

Bilgin 40M Superyacht By H2 Yacht Design

One of the best kept secrets is the Bilgin shipyard in Istanbul, Turkey which has been building yachts and pleasure craft for over 45 years. They have quietly been building cold moulded and aluminium yachts to order and have delivered two 37 metre (123ft) and one 40 metre (127ft) yachts this year alone.

Bilgin are coming out of the shadows to reveal themselves to the yachting world as a viable alternative to both Turkish yards as well as offering stiff competition to the Italian yards building in this segment of the market. By making mutual partnerships with established designers and technical consultants along with the combination of quality and amazing value for money makes them perfectly placed to make a bigger impact on the market as a whole.
One such launch this year was the 37 metre (123ft) motoryacht Tee-Dje, with its stunning, modern interior designed by London based H2 Yacht Design. Following this successful collaboration Bilgin and H2 Yacht Design have joined forces again to design a stunning and distinctive new 40m yacht that is now well under construction in Istanbul. With both exterior and interior styling from H2 Design, the yacht features a version of the vertical plumb style bow for a more aggressive look, whilst maintaining a full five cabin layout with a large owners suite forwards on main deck, and large aft lounges on both decks.
Once again Bilgin and H2 are working on an even bigger 45m version soon to be revealed as the next build project at this prolific yard.
